Compassionate, Evidence-Based Support for Every Stage

I’m Dr. Erin Michaud, a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) and a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst  (BCBA-D). With over 20 years of experience, I specialize in helping children with autism, delayed speech development, and other early developmental differences build the skills they need to connect, engage, and grow.

I work directly with infants, toddlers, and young children, as well as their families, offering practical strategies that respect your child’s strengths and support meaningful growth at home and in everyday life.

When to Seek Help

You don’t have to wait for a diagnosis to get started. Support is most effective when given early, especially if you’ve noticed:

  • Your baby isn’t babbling or making eye contact

  • Your toddler has fewer than 20 words by 18–24 months

  • Your child isn’t responding to their name

  • You have questions about autism or delayed speech development

These may be early signs of speech or language delay, or part of a broader developmental profile associated with autism. Either way, early support matters, and I’m here to help.

I attended Erin’s training 5 years ago. It changed the way we interacted with our son! It helped us to realize why he was crying and how to give him a better way to communicate with us. He now speaks! We still use what we learned with him and our two other kids!
